The PlayStation Network (PSN) has been the victim of countless high profile cyber attacks in the past, some taking down the gaming network, while others leaking users’ personal information. This week, however, Sony celebrates the first full calendar week that PSN has gone without hacks or other major interruptions in service.
“We here at Sony Entertainment are constantly striving to connect players and forge new game experiences, so we’re very excited to mark this milestone of flawless operation for a full five days,” announced Playstation media relations liaison Brandon McEnroy, followed by a brief but terse aside to an aide:
“Wait, five days? I thought the announcement was a whole week.”
“I mean, it kind of is? A workweek is five days, I thought it would be close enough-”
“Since when does five days count as a whole week!”
